It does what it needs to but the battery life seems too short after hand cranking up the charge, I guess the LCD display really takes more energy than the non-LCD models. Overall it will serve its purpose OK but for longer solar or hand cranked use I would recommend the non-LCD models.

I like the idea(s) behind this product (, but the implementation lacks. Cranking never gives you much of a charge and the solar side always is lacking.

Poor sound when it works. Batteries do not seem to work and do not recharge. Complicated instructions that make little sense.

I would like to create a review for this product, but I can’t because I still haven’t received it. I ordered this product on May 7th, today is June 16th and I still have yet to receive my product. When I placed the order on May 7th Amazon reported the item as “In Stock”. It’s been “In Stock” since I placed my order. On May 29th I called Amazon to find out what was going on. The only explaination I received was that they ran out of stock and where waiting for their order to be fullfilled. I asked why then does your web site state that the product is “In Stock”? There wasn’t any answer for that. So I’m still waiting. Overall this has been a bad experience due to Amazon.
